Tunisian Chicken Pie
A delicious and savory pie filled with spicy Tunisian chicken and wrapped in crispy filo pastry.
Ingredients
- β500g Chicken breasts
- β2 tbsp Tunisian harissa
- β1 package Filo pastry
- β1/4 cup, for brush Pastry dough
- β1 medium Chopped onion
- β2 cloves Chopped garlic
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsley

Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

In a pan, cook the chopped onion and garlic until softened.

Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned.

Add the Tunisian harissa and cook for 1 minute.

Roll out the filo pastry and cut into squares.

Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto one half of each square and fold in half.

Brush the edges with pastry dough and press to seal.

Place the pies on a baking sheet and brush with pastry dough.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley.
