Cheesy Ethiopian Lasagna
A unique twist on traditional lasagna, this dish combines the flavors of Ethiopia with melted cheese.
Ingredients
- ●8-10 sheets lasagnaoven-ready
- ●1 cup shredded cheddar cheesemild, sharp or a mix
- ●1/2 cup spicy kick sauce kickedadjust to taste
- ●1/4 cup honey floraloptional
- ●1 tsp ground berbere Ethiopian spicesadd depth to the dish

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook lasagna sheets according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a skillet, combine cheese, kicked sauce, and floral honey (if using). Stir until well combined.

Add Ethiopian spices to the cheese mixture and stir to combine.

In a 9x13-inch baking dish, create a thin layer of the cheese mixture.

Arrange 4 lasagna sheets on top of the cheese layer.

Repeat the cheese and lasagna layers two more times, ending with a cheese layer on top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
