Peruvian Chicken Skewers
A flavorful and spicy Peruvian-inspired dish featuring marinated chicken on skewers, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 Peruvian chili peppersuch as aji amarillo
- β1/4 cup Lime juicefreshly squeezed
- β2 tablespoons Olive oilfor brushing skewers
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β1/4 cup Cilantrochopped
- β1 teaspoon Saltto taste
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepperto taste

In a blender or food processor, combine chili pepper, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.

Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them. Toss to coat.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.
