Chicken Tagine Pasta
A fusion of Italian and North African flavors in this hearty chicken tagine pasta dish.
Ingredients
- β500g chicken breastboneless, skinless
- β2tsp algerian tagine spice blend
- β100g kissed olivespitted
- β250g pastapenne or rigatoni work well
- β500ml chicken brothhomemade or store-bought
- β50g parmesan cheesegrated
- β2tbsp olive oil
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β10g fresh parsleychopped
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the chicken breast and cook for 5-6 minutes, until browned.

Add the algerian tagine spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low and cook, covered, for 10-12 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.

Cook the pasta according to package instructions.

Add the pasta to the skillet with the chicken and toss to combine.

Stir in the kissed olives and parmesan cheese.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
