Paneer Tikka Masala
A popular Indian dish made with marinated paneer cooked in a rich tomato sauce.

Ingredients
- β250g paneer
- β1/2 charred red onion
- β2 tablespoons chicken tikka masala spice mix
- β2 tablespoons ghee or vegetable oil
- β2 cloves garlic
- β1 inch piece ginger
- β200g tomato puree
- β1 cup yogurt
- β1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

Marinate the paneer in yogurt and chicken tikka masala spice mix for at least 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated paneer. Cook until golden brown.

Add the charred red onion and cook until softened.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in the ghee and cook for 1 minute.

Add the paneer back into the sauce and cook until heated through.

Garnish with cilantro and serve with basmati rice or naan bread.
