Argentinian Skillet Beef
A hearty and flavorful beef dish inspired by the cuisine of Argentina, cooked in a skillet to perfection.
Ingredients
- β1 lb 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak)Cut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 tbsp 2 tbsp kissed argentinian seasoning blendStore-bought or homemade
- β1 cup 1 cup creamy chimichurri sauceHomemade or store-bought
- β1 large 1 large onionThinly sliced
- β2 cloves 2 cloves garlicMinced
- β1 large 1 large bell pepperThinly sliced
- β1 large 1 large tomatoDiced
- β1 large 1 large skilletCast-iron or stainless steel
Instructions

1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add the beef to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet. Add the onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until translucent.

4. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.

5. Add the bell pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until tender.

6. Add the tomato and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until tender.

7. Add the browned beef back into the skillet and stir in the chimichurri sauce.

8. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

9. Serve the beef and sauce over rice or with crusty bread.
