Doraji Bowl with Egyptian Kissed Chickpeas
A flavorful and nutritious bowl filled with doraji marinated in Egyptian spices and topped with kissed chickpeas.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Doraji
- β2 tsp Egyptian spices
- β1 cup kissed chickpeas
- β1 bowlused as a serving vessel
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β1 tbsp lemon juice
- β1 clove garlic
- βto taste salt

1. In a large bowl, whisk together Egyptian spices, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt.

2. Add the doraji to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

4. Remove the doraji from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

5. Grill the doraji for 2-3 minutes per side, or until slightly charred.

6. In a separate bowl, toss the kissed chickpeas with a pinch of salt.

7. To assemble the bowls, place a scoop of grilled doraji on the bottom, followed by a spoonful of kissed chickpeas.
