French Kissed Gratin
A creamy French-inspired gratin dish with a hint of exotic kissed spice and the soothing aroma of monsoon herbs.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Monsoon herbs
- β1 tsp Kissed spice
- β1 cup French cheesegrated
- β1 cup Flour
- β4 tbsp Butter
- β1 cup Milk
- βto taste Salt
- β1 loaf French breadcubed
- β1/4 cup Monsoondiced

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Add flour and whisk until smooth, cooking for 1 minute.

Slowly pour in milk, whisking continuously, until sauce thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in kissed spice, salt, and grated cheese.

In a separate pan, toast cubed French bread until golden brown.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, create a layer of toasted bread.

Pour half of the cheese sauce over the bread, followed by half of the monsoon herbs.

Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of cheese sauce on top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
