German Beef Terrine
A hearty German-inspired terrine made with tender beef and flavorful spices.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Ground Beef
- β1 medium Onion
- β1 cup Beef Broth
- β2 tbsp Beef Fat or Oil
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black Pepper
- β1 tsp Paprika
- β1/2 cup Breadcrumbs

Preheat oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).

In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the onion, beef broth, beef fat or oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the pan. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the breadcrumbs and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x5-inch loaf pan or a terrine mold.

Cover the pan with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.

Cover the pan with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
