Traditional Ukrainian Kielbasa Meal
A hearty Ukrainian-inspired meal featuring kielbasa sausage, served with roasted vegetables and a side of fluffy mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound kiebasaYou can use any type of kielbasa sausage you like.
- ●2 large carrotsPeel and chop into bite-sized pieces.
- ●3 large potatoesPeel and chop into large chunks.
- ●1 large onionsChop into large pieces.
- ●2 cloves garlicMince and sauté separately from onions.

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Peel and chop potatoes, carrots, and onions. Place on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil.

Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.

While vegetables are roasting, prepare kielbasa by slicing into thick rounds.

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat.

Add sliced kielbasa to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned.

Remove kielbasa from the skillet and set aside.
