Lamb Stew in Chinese Style
A hearty and flavorful lamb stew inspired by Chinese cuisine. This dish is perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients
- β1 lb LambCut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 cups Russian StewAvailable in most supermarkets
- β2 tbsp SilkyUse a mixture of hoisin sauce and soy sauce
- βto taste SaltUse as needed
- βto taste Black PepperUse as needed
- β1 tsp KissedUse sesame oil for a distinct flavor
Instructions

Heat 2 tbsp of sesame oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the lamb cubes in batches until browned on all sides. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add the remaining 2 tbsp of sesame oil to the pot, then add the Russian Stew and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Add the browned lamb back into the pot and stir to combine.

In a small bowl, whisk together the Silky and 2 cups of water. Pour the mixture into the pot and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and let stew for 1.5 hours or until the lamb is tender.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
