Savory Chinese Pork Dumplings
Delight in these pan-seared pork dumplings infused with a sweet and sour sauce, a perfect fusion of Eastern flavors.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Pork shoulder
- β20-24 wrappers Wonton wrappers
- β2 tablespoons Kissed sesame oil
- β1 teaspoon Spicy chili flakes
- β2 tablespoons Sweet soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Sour vinegar
- β1/4 cup Green onionschopped

Combine pork, sesame oil, chili flakes, soy sauce, and vinegar in a bowl. Mix well.

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.

Dip your finger in water and run it along the edges of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper into a triangle by bringing the two opposite corners together to form a point.

Press the edges together to seal the dumpling. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of sesame oil to the pan.

When the oil is hot, add the dumplings to the pan, leaving some space between each dumpling.

Cook the dumplings for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Remove the dumplings from the pan and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
