Tunisian Lamb Tagine with Japanese Twist
A fusion of Japanese flavors with traditional Tunisian ingredients, this lamb tagine is a unique and delicious meal option.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Lamb shoulder, sliced
- β1 cup Kissed apricots, chopped
- β1 teaspoon Spicy red pepper flakes
- β2 teaspoons Tunisian cumin
- β2 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 medium Onion, chopped
- β3 cloves Garlic, minced
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- βto taste Salt and pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the lamb slices and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the lamb from the pot and set aside.

Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the cumin, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chopped apricots, browned lamb, and chicken broth to the pot.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover the pot and transfer it to the oven.
