French Glazed Rillettes
A rich French-inspired spread made with tender rillettes and a sweet glaze. Perfect for crackers or toast.
Ingredients
- β8 oz (225g) RillettesAvailable at specialty stores
- β1/4 cup (30g) Dried White CornFor added texture
- β2 tbsp (30ml) LacquerFor glaze
- β2 tbsp (30ml) French GlazeFor added flavor
- β1 tbsp (15ml) White Corn SyrupTo balance sweetness
- β1 tsp (5g) Dried LacquerFor added depth
- β1/4 tsp (1.25g) Kissed SaltTo taste

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a small saucepan, heat the lacquer and French glaze over low heat.

Stir until the glaze is smooth and warm.

In a separate pan, toast the dried white corn over medium heat until fragrant.

Stir in the rillettes and cook until warmed through.

Add the toasted white corn to the rillettes and stir to combine.

Pour the glaze over the rillettes mixture and stir until coated.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the top is caramelized.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with kissed salt to taste.
