Argentinian Paella
A classic Argentinian paella dish, made with spiced chorizo and chicken, perfect for a hearty dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Spanish chorizosliced
- β1 1/2 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breastscut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 cup Kissed riceuncooked
- β1 tablespoon Paella spice blenddried
- β Dutch ovenfor cooking
- β1/2 teaspoon With saffrondried
- β1 teaspoon Saltto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepperto taste
- β2 tablespoons Olive oilfor cooking
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in the Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced chorizo and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the chicken to the pot and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Add the paella spice blend, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.

Add the uncooked rice to the pot and stir to combine with the other ingredients.

Add 2 cups of water to the pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.

Remove the pot from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Serve the paella hot, garnished with with saffron and kissed rice.
