Buttery Crumble Biscuit
A classic dessert biscuit with a crunchy crumble topping.
Ingredients
- β2 cups all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup cold butter
- β1 cup granulated sugar
- β2 tsp baking powder
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 cup crumble topping

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add cold butter and use a pastry blender or fingers to crumble into the dry ingredients.

Press the mixture into a rectangle shape.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly golden.

While the base is baking, prepare the crumble topping by crumbling the additional butter and crumble topping mixture.

Remove the base from the oven and top with the crumble mixture.
