Dutch Provolone Grilled Cheese
A classic grilled cheese recipe elevated with the rich flavors of Dutch provola cheese. Perfect for a quick and satisfying snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β2 slices Dutch provola cheese
- β2 slices Knobby sandwich bread
- β1 leaf Crisp lettuce
- β1 tablespoon Butter or non-stick cooking spray
Instructions

1. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

2. Butter or spray one side of each bread slice.

3. Place one bread slice, buttered side down, in the skillet.

4. Place one slice of provola cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.

5. Place a leaf of crisp lettuce on top of the cheese.

6. Place the second bread slice, buttered side up, on top of the lettuce.

7. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

8. Carefully flip the sandwich over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the other side is also golden brown.
