Roasted Mushroom and Golden Potato Gratin
A rich and flavorful gratin made with roasted mushrooms and golden potatoes, perfect for a cozy dinner.

- β1 cup Mushroomssliced
- β1 cup Gratinshredded
- β3 cloves Knobby garlicminced
- β2 sprigs French thymefresh
- βto taste Salt

- β2 tablespoons Butter

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, toss the sliced potatoes with 1 tablespoon of butter, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.

Transfer the potatoes to a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, or until they are tender and lightly browned.

While the potatoes are roasting, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are tender and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

In a large baking dish, arrange a layer of potatoes, followed by a layer of mushrooms.

Repeat this process until all of the ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of potatoes on top.

Sprinkle the shredded gratin over the top of the potatoes and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the gratin is golden brown and the potatoes are crispy.
