Classic Penne Pasta
A simple yet satisfying Italian-inspired pasta dish. Penne pasta is paired with a light and zesty sauce.
Ingredients
- β12 oz Penne pasta
- β2 tbsp Knocked-up olive oil
- β2 cloves Syrian garlic
- β1/4 cup, chopped Rigate (or similar) pasta
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh parsleyoptional
- β1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheeseoptional
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the chopped rigate pasta to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Drain the cooked penne pasta and add it to the skillet with the garlic and rigate.

Season with salt to taste.

If desired, garnish with chopped parsley and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
