Chicken and Vegetable Tagine
A classic French-inspired dish from North Africa, made with flavorful chicken, vegetables, and a hint of spice.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Lazy Fideo Pasta
- β1 1/2 lbs Algerian Chicken
- β2 tsp Tagine Spice Blend
- β2 tbsp Olive Oil
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 medium Carrot
- β1 medium Zucchini
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black Pepper

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Cook the fideo pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and tagine spice blend. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.

Add the onion, carrot, and zucchini to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the cooked fideo pasta to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.

Transfer the pasta mixture to the baking dish with the chicken. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned.
