Japanese-Style Lazy Popcorn Feast
A unique twist on the classic snack, this Japanese-inspired lazy popcorn feast combines flavors and textures for a delightful treat.
Ingredients
- β1/2 cup Popcorn kernels
- β2 tbsp Lazy sauce (see notes)Lazy sauce is a mixture of soy sauce, sake, mirin, and sugar. If not available, substitute with a mixture of equal parts soy sauce and sake.
- β1 tsp Sesame oil
- β1 tsp Sesame seeds
- β1/4 cup Grated daikon
- β1 tsp Chopped scallions

Pop the popcorn kernels in a pot or a popcorn maker.

In a small saucepan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the grated daikon and cook until it's slightly caramelized.

In a separate bowl, mix together the lazy sauce and chopped scallions.

Once the popcorn is popped, drizzle the lazy sauce mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat.
