Pav Bhaji
A popular Indian street food consisting of a spicy mixture of vegetables and bread.
Ingredients
- ●4 Pavwhite bread rolls
- ●1 cup Bhajispicy vegetable mixture
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●1 medium Tomatodiced
- ●1 medium Potatodiced
- ●1 Carrotgrated
- ●2 Green chilichopped
- ●1 teaspoon Cumin seedstoasted
- ●1 teaspoon Coriander powderground
- ●1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powderground
- ●1/2 teaspoon Red chili powderground
- ●2 tablespoons Gheeclarified butter
- ●2 tablespoons Lemon juice

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Add onion, tomato, and potato and sauté until the vegetables are soft.

Add carrot, green chili, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder.

Sauté for another 2-3 minutes.

Add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

Add ghee and lemon juice. Mix well.

Serve with pav and garnish with chopped cilantro.

Optional: Add a dollop of yogurt or a sprinkle of cilantro for garnish.
