Doner Wrap with Thai Flair
A twist on traditional street food, this Thai-inspired doner wrap is packed with flavor and texture.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Doner meatTurkey or lamb work well
- β2 tbsp Thai red curry pasteAdjust to taste
- β1 tsp Fish sauceOptional
- β1/4 cup Coconut milk
- β4 Light wraps
- β1/4 cup Chopped cilantro
- β4 Lime wedges
- β1 cup Pickled carrots
- β1 cup Sliced cucumber
- β2 tbsp Crushed peanuts

Preheat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the doner meat and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces.

Add the Thai red curry paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Stir in the fish sauce (if using) and coconut milk.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Warm the light wraps by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

Assemble the wraps by spooning the doner meat mixture onto a wrap, followed by chopped cilantro, a lime wedge, pickled carrots, sliced cucumber, and crushed peanuts.
