Beef Shawarma Bowl
A flavorful and healthy Egyptian-inspired beef shawarma bowl, served over a bed of light salad and steamed vegetables.
Ingredients
- β500g BeefThinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- β400g Light saladMixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrots
- β2 tsp Egyptian spicesA blend of cumin, coriander, paprika, and cayenne pepper
- β2 tbsp Lemon juiceFreshly squeezed
- β1 tbsp Olive oilFor grilling the beef
- β1 clove GarlicMinced
- β1 BowlFor serving the shawarma
- βto taste Salt and pepper
- β50g Feta cheeseOptional

1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the beef, Egyptian spices, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.

3. Grill the beef for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

4. Meanwhile, prepare the light salad by mixing together the greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and carrots.

5. Warm the bowl by placing it in the oven at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 5 minutes.

6. Assemble the shawarma by placing the grilled beef on top of the salad in the bowl.
