Gooey Cheese Pull-Apart Bread
A delicious, cheesy bread perfect for snacking or as a side dish. Soft and gooey on the inside, crispy on the outside.
Ingredients
- β1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- β1 cup warm water
- β3 cups all-purpose flour
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- β1 cup shredded light cheese
- β1 cup shredded gooey cheese
- β1/2 cup pull cheese

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine yeast and warm water. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes, until foamy.

2. Add flour, salt, and butter to the bowl. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, until doubled in size.

5. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces.

7. Roll each piece into a ball and then flatten it slightly into a disk.

8. Place the disks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving 1 inch of space between each piece.

9. Sprinkle shredded light cheese, gooey cheese, and pull cheese evenly over the dough pieces.
