Peruvian Beef Wrap
A flavorful Peruvian-inspired wrap filled with grilled beef, onions, and a zesty aji amarillo sauce.
Ingredients
- β300g Fillet (beef)preferably tenderized
- β1 Light wraplarge flour tortilla
- β1 Onionthinly sliced
- β2 Aji amarillo pepperdiced, or substitute with jalapeΓ±o
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Olive oilfor grilling
- β1/4 cup Chopped cilantrooptional garnish
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

1. In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic and diced aji amarillo pepper.

2. Brush the beef fillet with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.

3. Grill the beef over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

4. Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium heat.

5. Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they're translucent and starting to caramelize.

6. Add the garlic-aji amarillo mixture to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.

7. Warm the large flour tortilla by wrapping it in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

8. Slice the grilled beef into thin strips.

9. Assemble the Peruvian beef wrap by spreading the onion mixture onto the center of the tortilla, followed by the sliced beef.

10. Garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired, and serve immediately.
