Saudi Arabian Pilaf
A flavorful and aromatic rice dish originating from Saudi Arabia, often served with meat or vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 cup long-grain ricepreferably uncooked
- β2 tablespoons light vegetable oilfor sautΓ©ing
- β1 small onionchopped
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 cup pilafuncooked
- β1 cup peasfresh or frozen

Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the long-grain rice and stir to coat with the oil.
