Syrian Lamb Tagine

Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds Lamb shouldercut into 2-inch pieces
- β2 tablespoons Light olive oil
- β2 teaspoons Syrian allspiceground
- β2 cups Lamb stock
- β1 teaspoon Tagine spice blend
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β1-inch piece Gingergrated
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown lamb pieces on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove lamb from pot and set aside.

Add garlic and ginger to pot and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in allspice, tagine spice blend, salt, and pepper.
