Uruguayan-Style Beef Empanadas
Flaky beef empanadas with a Uruguayan twist, perfect for a snack or light meal.

- β2 cups All-purpose FlourFor pastry dough

- β1 large EggBeaten for egg wash

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Season with salt and cook until the beef is fully browned, about 5-7 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
