Turnip Stir Fry
A simple and delicious stir fry recipe featuring turnips, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β2 medium, peeled and sliced Turnips
- β2 tablespoons Lightly oiledVegetable oil or peanut oil work well
- β2 tablespoons, chopped CandiedCrushed candied ginger or orange peel
- β3 cloves, minced Garlic
- β1 tablespoon, grated Ginger
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 teaspoon Sesame oil

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced turnips and cook until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.

Add the chopped candied ginger and stir to combine.

Add the soy sauce and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the turnips are tender.

Stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
