Italian Flatbread Pizza
A simple and delicious Italian-inspired flatbread pizza recipe. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or snack.
Ingredients
- β1 package (14 oz) Portuguese doughAt room temperature
- β1/2 cup Lightly fermented flatbreadChopped into small pieces
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1 clove GarlicMinced
- β1 cup Mozzarella cheeseShredded
- β1/4 cup Fresh basilChopped
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1/2 tsp Black pepper
- β1/2 cup Tomato sauce

Preheat the oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).

Roll out the Portuguese dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.

Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.

Spread the tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges.

Top the sauce with the mozzarella cheese, chopped basil, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
