Polish Banana Bake
A delicious dessert recipe featuring caramelized bananas in a crispy polish pastry crust.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet (thawed) Polish pastry dough
- β3-4 Lightly roasted banana
- β1/4 cup Granulated sugarAdjust to taste
- β2 tbsp Unsalted butter
- β1 tsp Vanilla extract
- β1 Egg
- β1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the polish pastry dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

In a large bowl, mix together the sliced bananas, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.

Place the banana mixture onto one half of the pastry dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges.

Dot the top of the banana mixture with the unsalted butter.

Brush the edges of the pastry dough with the beaten egg.

Fold the other half of the pastry dough over the filling, pressing the edges to seal.

Use a knife to trim any excess pastry dough and create a decorative edge.
