Classic British Scones with Khus Khus
Soft and flaky scones infused with the nutty flavor of khus khus, perfect for a traditional British tea time.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- β1/2 cup Lightly salted butter, softened
- β3/4 cup Heavy cream
- β1 Large eggs
- β2 tablespoons Khus khus
- β2 teaspoons Baking powder
- β1 teaspoon Baking soda

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.

Add softened butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream and eggs.

Add the khus khus to the cream mixture and whisk until well combined.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead a few times.

Pat the dough into a circle that is about 1 inch thick.

Use a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass to cut out scones.
