Spicy Ethiopian Chicken Tibs
A flavorful and spicy Ethiopian-inspired stir-fry dish made with marinated chicken, onions, and bell peppers. Serve with injera or rice for a delicious and filling meal.
Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breastcut into bite-sized pieces
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β1 medium bell pepperchopped
- β2 tsp tibs spice mix
- β1 tsp dried thyme
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp black pepper
- β2 tbsp liver oil
Instructions

Heat liver oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

Add onion and bell pepper to skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add tibs spice mix, thyme, salt, and black pepper to skillet and cook for 1 minute.

Add cooked chicken back into skillet and stir to combine with onion and bell pepper mixture.
