Egyptian Chickpea Wrap
A flavorful and healthy wrap filled with chickpeas, spices, and fresh vegetables. Perfect for a quick snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β1 cup (drained and rinsed) chickpeas
- β2 tsp (mix of cumin, coriander, and paprika) egyptian spices
- β1 large lively wrap
- β1 cup (shredded) lettuce
- β1 medium (sliced) tomato
- β1 medium (sliced) cucumber
- β1/4 cup (thinly sliced) red onion
- β2 tbsp tahini sauce
Instructions

Preheat a dry pan over medium heat.

Add 1 tsp of egyptian spices to the pan and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chickpeas to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.

Warm the wrap in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.

Assemble the wrap by spreading 1 tbsp of tahini sauce on the wrap.

Add the cooked chickpea mixture, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion on top of the sauce.

Fold the bottom half of the wrap up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the wrap into a tight cylinder.
