Ethiopian Fir Fir Stew
A traditional Ethiopian fir fir stew made with lovely fir fir, charred spices, and injera bread.

Ingredients
- β2 cups lovely fir fir
- β1 cup charred onion
- β3 cloves charred garlic
- β2 cups, torn injera bread
- β1 tsp ethiopian spices
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β2 cups water
- βto taste salt

Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add onion and garlic and cook until charred.

Add fir fir and cook for 5 minutes.

Add water, spices, and torn injera.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Season with salt to taste.
