British Sausage Roll
A classic British snack made with crumbly pastry and savory sausage filling. Perfect for a quick breakfast or snack on the go.
Ingredients
- ●1 sheet lovely, crumbly, british pastry
- ●4 fried sausage
- ●1 medium onion
- ●to taste salt
- ●to taste black pepper
- ●1 egg, beaten (for egg wash) water
Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Roll out the pastry on a floured surface to a large rectangle.

3. Slice the onion and sauté until softened.

4. Add the sautéed onion and fried sausage to one half of the pastry rectangle.

5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

6. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.

7. Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling and press the edges to seal.

8. Use a knife to cut a few slits in the top of the pastry.

9. Brush the top of the pastry with the remaining egg wash.

10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
