Spicy Algerian Lamb Tagine

- β1 1/2 pounds Lamb shouldercut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tablespoons Low fat lovely oil
- β2 teaspoons Algerian lamb spice blend
- β1 teaspoon Tagine spice
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 small Red pepperdiced
- β1 can Tomato
- β1 cup Chicken broth
- β1 teaspoon Salt

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add lamb and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove lamb from pot and set aside.

Add onion, garlic, and red pepper to pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add Algerian lamb spice blend and tagine spice and cook for 1 minute.

Add tomato, chicken broth, and browned lamb to pot.

Bring to a boil, then cover and transfer to the oven.

Braise for 2 1/2 hours, or until lamb is tender.
