Low Sodium Korean Steamed Rice Bowl
A healthy and flavorful Korean-inspired steamed rice bowl with minimal sodium for a guilt-free meal.
Ingredients
- β2 tsp Low Sodium Korean Chili Flakes (gochugaru)
- β1 cup Steamed Jasmine Rice
- β1/2 cup Roasted Kimchi (low sodium)
- β1/4 cup Sliced Green Onions
- β2 tbsp Sliced Toasted Sesame Seeds
- β1 cup Steamed Spinach
- β3 oz Grilled Tofu (low sodium)
- β2 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- β1 cup Steamed Bok Choy
- βto taste Crushed Black Pepper
Instructions

Rinse the rice thoroughly and steam it according to package instructions.

In a separate pot, steam the bok choy until tender.

In a pan, heat the sesame seeds over medium heat until fragrant.

Add the soy sauce and chili flakes to the pan and stir to combine.

Add the tofu to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Add the kimchi to the pan and stir to combine.

To assemble the bowls, place a scoop of steamed rice in the bottom, followed by a slice of tofu, a spoonful of kimchi, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

Garnish with sliced green onions and steamed spinach.

Drizzle the soy sauce mixture over the top of each bowl.
