Classic American Beef Casserole
A hearty and comforting beef casserole recipe that's perfect for a cold winter night.
Ingredients

- β2 medium-sized Luscious American Mashed Potatoes
- β1 medium-sized Casserole
- β1 medium-sized Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 cup Tomato Sauce
- β1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
- β1 cup Breadcrumbs
- β Salt and Pepperto taste

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it's fully cooked.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the tomato sauce and bring the mixture to a simmer.

In a separate pot, boil the mashed potatoes until they're tender.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, create a layer of the mashed potatoes.

Next, add a layer of the beef and onion mixture on top of the potatoes.

Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of mashed potatoes on top.

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs over the top of the potatoes.

Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is hot and bubbly.
