Australian Fish Poke Bowl
A refreshing and healthy dish that combines the flavors of Australia and Hawaii. This recipe features fresh fish, mixed with a variety of vegetables and a zesty sauce.
Ingredients
- β6 oz Sushi-grade fish (such as salmon or tuna)Fresh and sashimi-grade
- β2 Australian avocadoRipe and sliced
- β4 cups Mixed greensBaby spinach, arugula, and/or lettuce
- β1 cup Australian pineappleDiced and fresh
- β1/2 cup Red onionThinly sliced
- β2 tbsp Soy sauceLow-sodium and gluten-free
- β2 tbsp Lime juiceFreshly squeezed
- β1 tsp Chili flakesOptional
- βto taste Salt and pepper

Cut the fish into small pieces and place in a bowl.

Add the sliced avocado, mixed greens, diced pineapple, and thinly sliced red onion to the bowl.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lime juice, and chili flakes (if using).

Pour the dressing over the fish and vegetables, and toss to combine.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Just before serving, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped fresh herbs (such as cilantro or parsley).
