Spicy Indian Dal Tofu
A flavorful and nutritious Indian-inspired dish made with tofu and dal. This recipe is easy to make and packed with protein.

Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) tofudrained and cut into small cubes
- β1 cup dalsplit red lentils
- β1 cup lushfresh spinach leaves
- β2 tsp indian spicesturmeric, cumin, coriander powder
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1-inch piece gingergrated
- β2 tbsp oilvegetable oil
- β1 tsp saltto taste
- β4 cups waterfor cooking dal

Instructions

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until onion is translucent.

Add tofu and cook until golden brown.

Add dal, spices, and salt. Cook for 1 minute.

Add water and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes or until dal is tender.
