Spanish Paella with Danmuji
A twist on the classic Spanish dish, this paella recipe incorporates the spicy and sweet flavors of danmuji for a unique and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- β1 cup paella rice
- β1 pound shrimppeeled and deveined
- β2 cups danmujijulienned
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β2 medium tomatodiced
- β1 teaspoon paprika
- β1 teaspoon salt

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the danmuji, tomato, paprika, and salt. Stir to combine.

Add the paella rice and stir to coat with the vegetables and spices.
