Norwegian Fish Casserole
A rich and satisfying casserole dish that combines the flavors of Norway with the freshness of fish.
Ingredients

- ●200g Norwegian cheeseGjetost or Jarlsberg are good options
- ●150ml Luxuriant creamHeavy cream or crème fraîche
- ●50g ButterUnsalted for best flavor
- ●30g All-purpose flourFor thickening the sauce
- ●1 large Casserole dishTo assemble and bake the casserole

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Season the fish with salt, pepper, and any other desired herbs.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the flour and whisk to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Slowly pour in the cream, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until thickened.

Stir in the Norwegian cheese until melted and smooth.
