Luxuriant Congee with Chinese Herbs
A nourishing and comforting congee dish infused with the subtle flavors of Chinese herbs, ideal for a relaxing breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons Luxuriant Chinese HerbsDried herbs such as astragalus and licorice root
- β4 cups CongeePrepared congee or cooked rice porridge
- β4 cups Vegetable BrothLow-sodium broth
- β2 ScallionsThinly sliced
- β1-inch piece GingerSliced

Rinse the rice and soak it in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Drain and rinse the rice, then add it to a large pot with the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
