Traditional Irish Bubble and Squeak
A classic Irish dish made from leftover potatoes and cabbage, pan-fried to perfection. A hearty and comforting meal for any occasion.
Ingredients
- β4-6 medium Northern Irish potatoespreferably leftover from a previous meal
- β1 cup Rich bubble and squeakleft over from a previous meal
- β1 small head Luxuriant cabbageshredded
- βto taste Squeak of salt

Heat a large non-stick pan over medium heat.

Add the shredded cabbage and cook until it starts to soften, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the leftover bubble and squeak to the pan, breaking up any large clumps with a spatula.

Add the diced potatoes to the pan, stirring to combine with the cabbage and bubble and squeak.

Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the bottom.

Season with salt to taste.
