Shrimp Fajitas al Ajillo
A spicy and flavorful Mexican dish featuring succulent shrimp cooked in a garlic butter sauce, served with sautéed onions and bell peppers.
Ingredients
- ●12 oz Shrimp (gambas)peeled and deveined

- ●1 tsp Cuminground

- ●1 tsp Saltto taste

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, and cook until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

Add the shrimp to the skillet, and cook until they start to turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, and salt to the skillet, and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the shrimp are fully cooked and the sauce has thickened.

Serve the shrimp and vegetables hot, garnished with chopped fresh cilantro if desired.
