Gratin Pear Crumble
A delicious dessert combining the sweetness of pears with a crunchy topping, perfect for a cozy evening.
Ingredients
- β3-4 PearsAny variety, but firmer pears work best
- β1/2 cup Sugar
- β1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup Unsalted butterSoftened
- β1/4 cup Heavy cream
- β Gratin topping (see below)

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Peel, core, and slice the pears. In a large bowl, combine the pears and sugar. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and softened butter until crumbly. Add the heavy cream and mix until it forms a smooth batter.

Transfer the pear mixture to a 9x9-inch baking dish and top with the batter.

Prepare the gratin topping (see below).

Spread the gratin topping evenly over the batter.
