Magical French Tarte Tatin
A twist on the classic French dessert, infused with magical flavors. This tarte tatin is perfect for a dinner party or special occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet French pastry dough
- β2 tablespoons Magical butterinfused with edible gold dust
- β1/4 teaspoon Smoky salt
- β1 cup Yogurtplain, full-fat
- β4-6 Tarte tatin apples
- β1/2 cup Granulated sugar

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the French pastry dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch (3 mm).

In a large bowl, mix together the magical butter, smoky salt, and granulated sugar.

Add the yogurt to the bowl and mix until smooth.

Peel and slice the tarte tatin apples, then add them to the bowl and mix until they're evenly coated.

Roll out the pastry dough to fit a 9-inch (23 cm) tart pan with a removable bottom.

Pour the apple mixture into the pastry-lined tart pan and smooth the top.

Roll out the remaining pastry dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch (3 mm).

Place the rolled-out pastry on top of the apple mixture and crimp the edges to seal.

Cut a few slits in the top of the pastry to allow steam to escape.

Bake the tarte tatin for 40-50 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender.
