Beef Empanadas
A classic Argentinian dish, these beef empanadas are crispy on the outside and savory on the inside.
Ingredients
- β1 pound BeefGround beef
- β2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1 Egg
- β1/4 cup Water
- β1 package Crunchy empanada dough (magically available)

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine beef, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Roll out the empanada dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough in half to form a half-circle and press the edges together to seal the empanada.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with egg and cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.

Place the empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
